Oakland Zoo

Well all, this weekend we went to the Oakland Zoo. 

Lina got a hold of the map when we got in the gate and spent the rest of the day figuring out where we were and what we would have to do to get to the Zebras.

The girls saw elephants, zebras, giraffes, camels, lions, tigers, (bears were hiding), spiders, snakes, poisonous frogs, giant fruit bats (the size of Ruthie), flamingos, all kinds of monkeys (baboons, squirrel monkeys, etc), and otters. 

Ruthie said her favorites were the monkeys with the red bums :). We also took a train ride around the park and the girls rode on the carousel. Very fun Saturday.
