It was great to have seen most of you in Utah over the holiday. We've made it back to the Bay area and the girls are finally getting over the excitement and getting acclimated to normal life again. That means work for me, preschool and dance class for Lina, joyschool and gymnastics for Ruthie, and keeping up with the kids for Alison (the hardest job of any of us!).

In the last week in Utah we went snowshoeing, skiing, and took the girls sledding (and saw some creative snow parking. We had the chance to see the Jazz play the 76ers in live NBA basketball, the Utes play Gonzaga in live college basketball, and since I got sick right after New Years of course I watched a lot of college football bowl games on TV including the Utes stomping the Alabama Crimson Tide -- (I was a Ute fan for 1 night only!). The girls also got a chance to go to the Children's museum (see photos) with their Grandma.

We had a chance to celebrate Ruthie's birthday while in Utah, and once we returned to California. We took her to a birthday lunch of her favorite "Pep-a-woni" pizza and got cupcakes, as you can see.
