Ladies and Gents - it is officially hot. But judging from the last few months, it will now get cold again. However, it was good enough to take the kids and meet up with some friends in Santa Cruz. It was nice and hot, but as the day wore on the ocean breeze cooled things off.
It took Lina a while to warm up to braving the ocean (which was freezing!), but after a while she would run out there and let the waves chase her into shore. Ruthie wanted to go out as long as some would carry her in - she has a healthy fear of being swept out to sea. Greg got a minor sunburn - Irish skin burns before it tans.
As you can see from the picture Lina and Ruthie were buried in the sand with their boyfriend Thomas. Yes I said "their boyfriend" - they both love him and they both plan to marry him. I'm trying to convince them otherwise.... That was our day at the beach!
